NICOLE WRIGHT, PCC, CPCC, CAE
Founder | Executive Coach | Leadership Strategist
Leadership is human work.
For more than 15 years, I have worked at the intersection of leadership development, executive coaching, talent strategy and organizational development.
My work is grounded in a simple belief: stronger organizations are built by leaders who understand themselves, know how to lead others and can create the conditions for people and performance to thrive.

Why I Founded Wright Leadership Solutions
I founded Wright Leadership Solutions because I saw an opportunity to bring a different perspective to leadership development.
Throughout my career, I became increasingly aware of the underrepresentation of Black women in the spaces where organizations seek leadership development, coaching and strategic guidance. I knew the experience, perspective and capability I brought to this work, and I wanted to contribute to changing that.
But there is another part of my story that has shaped my approach to leadership.
I've experienced the power of great leadership. And I've experienced what happens when leadership falls short.
I've worked with leaders who recognized my potential, invested in my growth, challenged my thinking and created opportunities that helped shape my career.
I've also experienced leadership that was less supportive. Both experiences taught me something important.
Leadership is never just about the person holding the position. It's about the experience they create for the people they lead.
Great leadership can build confidence, open doors and help people recognize possibilities they may not have seen for themselves. Leadership that lacks self-awareness can have an equally powerful impact, sometimes creating barriers that prevent people from contributing and growing.
Those experiences reinforced my belief that leaders need opportunities to understand themselves, recognize their impact and become more intentional about how they lead. I also believe people should be able to experience their leadership journey in ways that honour their values, strengths and aspirations while remaining aligned with the priorities of their organizations.
Those things don't have to compete. That belief is at the heart of Wright Leadership Solutions.

Executive Coaching
One of the things I love most about my work is creating opportunities for leaders to see themselves differently.
I want leaders to understand their strengths, recognize patterns that may be limiting their effectiveness and become more aware of how their leadership is experienced by others.
My approach combines meaningful conversations, practical experience and research-informed leadership assessments.
Leadership Development
As a certified practitioner in Leadership Circle Profile, Korn Ferry 360 and Insights Discovery, I use these globally recognized tools, when appropriate, to deepen self-awareness, provide meaningful feedback and support intentional leadership development.
But the assessment itself is never the destination. What matters is what leaders discover, the conversations that follow and what they choose to do differently.
Facilitation is another important part of how I work.
Talent Strategy
I believe learning should be engaging, relatable and connected to the realities people face every day. I bring warmth, curiosity and thoughtful challenge into the room, creating environments where people feel comfortable contributing, reflecting and exploring different perspectives.
I want people to recognize themselves in the learning experience and leave with something they can actually use.
Organizational Development
Helping organizations align their culture, structure and leadership to drive sustainable performance and human-centered growth.
Thinking Beyond Today's Leadership Challenges
My work also reflects a concern I've seen throughout my career: organizations can become so focused on immediate leadership challenges that they lose sight of the importance of developing talent for the future.
We respond to a leadership issue. We fill a vacant position. We address a performance concern.
But are we thinking strategically about who we're developing, who may be overlooked and how we're preparing people for greater responsibility? Are we creating the conditions for people to feel valued, contribute meaningfully and grow?
I believe talent is among an organization's most valuable assets. Developing that talent requires intention, thoughtful planning and a willingness to look beyond immediate needs.
Through Wright Leadership Solutions, I want to partner with leaders and decision-makers who recognize that investing in people is essential to building stronger organizations.
Because when people experience leadership that helps them grow, the impact reaches beyond the individual. It reaches their teams, their organizations and the communities they serve.
That is the impact I want my work to have.
